Healthy Central Valley Together

Healthy Central Valley Together (HCVT) is a collaborative project among public health departments, communities, and UC Davis and UC Merced aiming to expand applications of wastewater-based disease surveillance to address health equity. I lead this project with Colleen Naughton at UC Merced. We work with Merced, Stanislaus and Yolo county health departments and 9 wastewater treatment plants in cities throughout the region, and we are part of the WastewaterSCAN network. We seek to help prevent the spread of respiratory, enteric, and other infectious diseases. More information is available at https://healthycvtogether.org/ .
